There’s a quiet revolution happening in the Indian art world—one that whispers rather than shouts, inviting curiosity over exclusivity. At the heart of it is Srila Chatterjee, whose vision for Baro Art has redefined the relationship between people and art. This April, that vision finds a new home in Gurgaon.

For the first time, Baro Art’s acclaimed Affordable Art Show comes to the NCR, bringing with it the spirit of inclusion, discovery, and rich storytelling that has made it a cultural highlight in cities like Mumbai, Kochi, Chennai, and Ahmedabad.

Curated with Srila’s signature eye for beauty and narrative, the show will feature original works from over 50 Indian artists, spanning a vivid spectrum of styles and mediums. Expect to encounter the earthy intricacy of Venkat Shyam’s Gond art, the sacred storytelling of Sanjay Chitara’s Mata ni Pachedi, and the delicate genius of Banoo Batliboi’s book sculptures—alongside a host of contemporary artists and lesser-known gems waiting to be discovered.

But this is more than an art show—it’s a storybook. Each work on display is part of a larger cultural dialogue, gently introducing visitors to the deep-rooted traditions of Indian folk art, the evolving language of contemporary expression, and the quiet brilliance that thrives across the country’s creative landscape.

Affordability, here, is not just a price point. It’s an invitation. With original, certified works ranging from ₹3,000 to ₹3 lakhs, the exhibition welcomes both seasoned collectors and first-time buyers. The addition of a Collector’s Corner—featuring celebrated artists at accessible prices—makes the experience even more compelling.

About Baro Market

An extension of Srila Chatterjee’s commitment to culture, craft, and conscious living, Baro Market is a thoughtfully curated platform spotlighting over 60 Indian designers, artists, and makers. From fashion and home décor to beauty, stationery, and slow foods, Baro is a universe of design that champions the handmade, the meaningful, and the meticulously sourced. Every item is a celebration of India’s creative soul—eclectic, ethical, and exquisitely local.
